Sounds like you are ready to start MW (amongst other projects). Are we still planning for after Labor Day/mid-Sept as a start date? That is so cool that you and *the boy* are going to do some site seeing revolving around Samplers/needlework. I have been reading about the history of MW I found on the main MW website. I have always thought about what it would have been like to live "back then"...like during the Laura Ingles Wilder time frame, going to the one room schools and sitting around the fireplace xstitching. Anyway...hope you have a good week. Sounds like the trip to RI is coming up soon.
Take care!
LisaLisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11281836434713711420noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12317509.post-15641589083401148442009-08-24T14:20:10.399-07:002009-08-24T14:20:10.399-07:00Sounds like you had a great weekend and accomplish...Sounds like you had a great weekend and accomplished a lot!

My baby (17 years old) was at school this morning doing their "maze day". A day before school starts to get classes, supplies, order yearbooks etc. And every time I heard a siren (which I hear a lot of since we are off the main road of our city), I cringed a little. After watching the news about the other high school across the bay, it really got to me. And hearing about that girl and the train and having it happen so often this year is just heartbreaking. Why arent these kids getting the help they need? Why arent the parents there for them? What's going on? My kids share everything with me..sometimes more than I want to know. Their friends come to me when they need help. More people just need to make themselves available to the kids and realize they are NOT grownups. They are just kids.

Sorry...having teens in my house makes me very sensitive to those subjects.Branlaadeehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06678286378713089390noreply@blogger.com
